MATLAB- Voltage-Clamp Analysis

Project Description

MATLAB code which leak subtracts voltage-clamp data,  finds various peak current amplitudes and produces nonlinear fits of both Boltzmann and Modified Boltzmann relationships. Outputs are displayed below. The function can also take cell capacitance values (numeric vector) as an optional input from the user and consequently output current density values.

Project Details

  • Question:Can I significantly expedite my voltage-clamp analysis workflow?
  • Answer:Yes! MATLAB reduces analysis time from 15-20mins per file, down to 5-10seconds.
  • Challenges:Learn MATLAB well enough, initially, to produce functional code in a 10-day workshop.
  • Purpose:To make my data analysis workflow faster and more reproducible.
